Spiras Health announced today the addition of two healthcare and sales veterans who will support the organization’s strategic growth by securing additional opportunities for Spiras Health to serve medically complex patients with its high-touch, tech-enabled clinical care delivery model.  Georgia Buck and Lee Cassell will each join the Spiras Health team as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and together bring significant sales and partnership experience to the organization.

“With the addition of new clients, expansion with existing clients and the completion of our Series B funding, Spiras Health is poised for growth, and Georgia and Lee are the perfect additions to the team to help us scale our model of care delivery,” said Toni Tashiro, Chief Growth Officer, Spiras Health. “They are proven sales leaders who have extensive experience developing partnerships to ensure that we are helping our clients lower healthcare costs and our patients to maintain their health without unnecessary ER visits or hospitalizations.”

Buck is a seasoned health care executive with deep experience in care management, quality improvement, health care analytics and program development. Throughout her career Georgia has developed new markets and contributed to rapid company growth through sales, partnership development and strategic account management.

“Delivering specialty care in the home with a “people first” model sets Spiras apart in the market,” said Buck. “The ongoing care and personal relationship our clinicians develop are essential to keeping people out of the ER and hospital.”

Cassell has spent majority of his career in the healthcare industry, including fifteen years focused on the senior population. Prior to Spiras Health, Lee spent more than a decade in episodic home care where he often found himself frustrated with the lack of time and access to care for the chronically ill.

“Reducing fragmentation and increasing continuity of care is critical,” said Cassell. “Spiras Health truly delivers on the quadruple aim: higher quality, lower cost and high patient and provider satisfaction.”

Buck and Cassell will support revenue and market expansion strategies with Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid, and value-based contracting, helping clients transform their care delivery model for medically complex patients with lung and cardiac disease. In addition, they will provide strategic insights and client feedback to the clinical and business operations and product development teams at Spiras Health to ensure a best-in-class experience for clients and patients.

Buck attended Northeastern University where she earned a B.S., Healthcare Administration/Management. Cassell is a graduate of University of Miami with a B.S. in Psychology and Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance.
